EGGLESS VANILLA CAKE WITH CHOCOLATE FROSTINGS


Ingredients

  • Maida - 1 1/2 cup
  • Baking powder - 2 t spoon
  • Baking soda - 1/4 t spoon
  • Powdered sugar - 1 1/2 cup
  • Butter - 1/2 cup
  • Vanilla essence - 1 t spoon
  • Milk - 1/2 cup

Method
  • Sieve Maida, baking powder and baking soda and mix well together and keep aside.
  • Cream powdered sugar with butter using a beater until it is fluffy.
  • Add milk and vanilla essence , beat well for few more mins.
  • Drop the sieved items little by little in to the beaten mix and fold well.
  • Grease a vessel with the butter and dust it with maida and pour the prepared batter in to it.
  • Pressure cook it in medium flame for 1 hr.

                          
                                       
     Baking in pressure cooker.
  • Fill the cooker with sand for 2 inches and place the plate u get with cooker on to the sand.
  • Pre heat the cooker with sand for 5 mins in high flame.
  • Now place the batter vessel and turn it to be in medium flame.
  • Check in the centre of the cake by inserting a wooden tooth pick, if it comes out clean then its cooked or cook for some more time.
      Note: Donot use Gasket and weight for the entire baking.

Chocolate Frostings

Ingredients

  • Cocoa powder - 1/4 cup
  • Powdered sugar - 1 1/2 cup
  • Butter - 1/2 cup
  • Vanilla essence - 1 t spoon
  • Warm Milk - 1/2 cup
Method
  • Mix powdered sugar and cocoa powder together.
  • Cream the above mix with butter using a beater until it is fluffy.
  • Add milk and vanilla essence and mix well.
  • Keep the mixture in the refrigerator for 15 mins and then apply on the cooled cake using a knife.
  • Decorate it with Gems.
